Can an Italian guy from Bologna, who grew up on tortellini, lasagne and cannelloni, move to Essex  in the UK and start working and studying as a Professional Chef? Easy, why not!

My story starts from here, Saffron Walden in Essex, little and quiet town where I moved at the age of 35 in order to build a family and a new life. My passion for food? I was just a little boy when I was watching my grandma preparing Sunday lunches for the whole family. I worked in bakeries in Bologna. I was always into experimenting with new recipes. There is nothing better than a top quality of fresh ingredients.

I currently work in a kitchen. I simply can not have enough of it. When I come home, I put some music on, I pour myself a glass of good red wine and I start cooking again. It  relaxes me. Seeing my family enjoying hot meals after a long day makes me happy.

Cooking became more than just a job. It’s my passion.

It makes my days, my mind and my heart more colourful.

England is my new home now and I would love to give  something in return for making me feel so welcome here.

What can I promise with this blog? I’d like to share with you my knowledge and skills I learn everyday. I’ll offer you ideas, affordable, healthy and colourful recipes. I’d also like to show you a new effortless way to experience food, so that you can spend precious time around the table with the loved ones. If you feel like it, you can also turn my suggestions into a family fun and cook together with your children.
